Green Bay Packers tight end Jared Cook had a less than pleasant dining experience Tuesday night after he ordered wings at a Buffalo Wild Wings location. He ordered his wings extra wet with lemon pepper seasoning only to find a fried chicken head when he opened the box.

When he raised the issue to an employee at the Buffalo Wild Wings location, the server allegedly said “Sorry unfortunately this happens because the chicken is fresh.”

Cook tweeted about the incident shortly thereafter saying:

Buffalo Wild Wings has released a statement saying “Buffalo Wild Wings takes food preparation, service and quality extremely seriously and we are looking into this situation. We’ve reached out to Jared Cook and our suppliers for more information.”
