Prime Video is developing a television adaptation of Elsie Silver’s contemporary romance series Rose Hill. The project has filled several principal roles and named key creative personnel, but it remains in early stages and no release date has been announced.

Confirmed cast
Several lead roles have been assigned. Actor Jake Weary will portray rancher West Belmont. Model-turned-actor Sean O’Pry is set as Ford Grant, while Hannah Galway will play Rose and Sadie Dickerson takes the role of country-pop star Skylar Stone.
Additional casting announcements include Siobhan McGroarty as Cora, Sophia Reid-Gantzert as Emmy Belmont and West Mulholland as Oliver Belmont. Gigi Zumbado and Curtis Hamilton have joined in recurring guest parts as Tabitha and Bash Rousseau, respectively.
Sean O’Pry is noted outside acting circles for his appearance in the music video for Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space.”
Creative team and production partners
Amazon revealed at its upfront presentation in May 2026 that Heidi Cole McAdams will serve as showrunner. Director Marc Webb is attached to helm the pilot and the second episode.
Production comes from Temple Hill. Author Elsie Silver is listed as an executive producer alongside Temple Hill producers Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman. Temple Hill’s Annika Patton is a co-executive producer.

Premise: family ties, friendship and romantic tension
The story centers on West Belmont, a rancher with commitment issues, and his neighbor and longtime friend Ford Grant, a brooding record label owner. Ford has harbored feelings for West’s sister, Rose, for years.
