Hutchinson joins Feldman after contributing as a writer on the Christina Applegate- and Linda Cardellini-led Dead to Me and on Apple’s Palm Royale.
What the series is about
The half-hour dark comedy follows Emma and Eli, two former friends who reconnect after years apart. Together they set out to take down the man who drove a wedge between them, a premise described as revenge-driven and tonally dark.

Where this sits for Feldman and Netflix
Feldman has renewed her relationship with Netflix and will continue developing scripted series and films for the streamer. She first signed an overall deal with Netflix in 2020.
Her previous series, No Good Deed — which starred Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano — was placed on hold more than a year ago and has not been formally canceled.
Comments from creators and Netflix
Feldman and Hutchinson issued a joint statement saying, “We’re thrilled to tell this completely made-up story about revenge inspired by our very real friendship of 30 years. Thank you to Netflix for being the best partners in the biz and, more importantly, for paying us to finally work through 30 years of neurosis and resentment.”
Tracey Pakosta, Netflix’s vice president of comedy series, added that the streamer is “excited to continue our partnership with Liz and bring more of her distinct, brilliant vision to audiences worldwide.” Pakosta praised the decades-long friendship between Feldman and Hutchinson as the source of their “unique and sharp creative chemistry,” noting their previous collaboration on Dead to Me.
