Cast and creative team
The series stars K-pop performer Jung Yong-hwa — known for his work with band CNBLUE — alongside actress Hong Seung-hee, whose credits include Just Dance, Navillera and Move to Heaven.
Production is handled by Syn & Studio and People Story Company. The screenplay is by Byun Sang-soon, while direction is led by Yoon Jong-ho and Lee Seung-hoon. Yoon recently directed the hit K-drama Lovely Runner.
A+E’s international play
A+E said it “recognized the series’ potential to bring together the nuanced emotional storytelling associated with Korean dramas, the buoyant pace of romantic comedy and the international fandom surrounding Korean actors and K-pop stars.”
The company plans to present the show for buyers at MIPCOM in Cannes and will distribute it worldwide. A+E Global Media — which rebranded from A+E Networks last year — has secured rights in 83 territories so far, underscoring the appetite for Korean content in global markets.
