Paramount Skydance has named the executive team that will run the combined company after its merger with Warner Bros. Discovery is finalized on Tuesday. The lineup pulls senior leaders from both organizations and sets out who will oversee streaming, television, news and finance at the new entity.
Top leadership and reporting
Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison and incoming co‑CEO Ynon Kreiz announced the roster Monday. The newly formed leadership team will report directly to Ellison and Kreiz, the companies said in a news release.

Ellison described the slate as leaders with a track record of building major franchises and businesses, and said they share a strong commitment to the creative process and storytelling.
News divisions remain under existing editors
The company’s news operations will continue under current bosses. Bari Weiss, who joined Paramount Skydance after it acquired The Free Press in October 2025, will stay on as editor‑in‑chief of CBS News. Mark Thompson will remain chairman and editor‑in‑chief of CNN Worldwide.
Who will run streaming and television
Casey Bloys, now chairman and CEO of HBO and Max content at Warner Bros. Discovery, will serve as co‑chair and chief content officer of Skydance’s direct‑to‑consumer division. In that capacity he will oversee the combined streaming services, including HBO Max and Paramount+.

George Cheeks, formerly a co‑CEO of Paramount, will be co‑chair and chief content officer of Skydance TV, a unit that will include the company’s global sports group. JB Perrette, most recently CEO and president of global streaming and games for Warner Bros. Discovery, will co‑chair both divisions alongside Bloys and Cheeks.
Corporate officers and finance
Paramount’s chief strategy officer and chief operating officer, Andy Gordon, will take the role of president of Skydance. Chief Financial Officer Dennis Cinelli will remain in his current position, the release said.
Merger status and legal clearance
The companies first announced the roughly $110 billion merger agreement in February. After resolving a lawsuit brought by a group of state attorneys general last month, the firms said last week that the transaction would close on Tuesday.
