Ethnic fighting has claimed six lives in Papua New Guinea’s third largest city, Mt Hagen.The Western Highlands provincial capital was turned into a fighting zone early Sunday morning after a security guard was stabbed to death when he tried to remove a patron from a hotel.  Hundreds of the guard’s clansmen from the Jiga tribe, upon hearing of his stabbing, traveled to squatter settlements within the city and burned houses and clashed with its occupants, sending women and children fleeing.
