This is one of those head shaking, “only in Australia” stories.  Sorry Aussies, you folks sometimes operate your society like a reality show.  Not that the USA doesn’t do the same, witness Sarah Palin.  See the especially “creepy” portrait of the photographer in question.  Would you like him trolling the playgrounds of your kids school?

REVELATIONS that photographer Bill Henson selected children to pose nude for him by scouring primary school playgrounds at lunchtime have sparked anger and alarm among parents groups and principals.

Four months after NSW police seized Henson’s work from a Sydney gallery, the photographer has sparked renewed debate after making his first public defence of his work.

Mr Mark Standen, an assistant director with the NSW Crime Commission, was arrested at his desk in Sydney yesterday for his alleged role in attempting to import enough ephedrine to produce more than $120 million worth of ice.

Did someone say “only in Australia?”  I always am grateful when Australia brings forward a story like this because it makes the United States seem a little more tolerable.  This story would be more funny if the man wasn’t hurt so badly.  anyway.

Thank God the Australians are on the earth.  We Americans need to have some other country more nutz and crazy than us.  We are racist and ignorant sometimes but this is one or those stories you gotta put in the only in Australia category.

RACIST attacks, second-rate colleges, greedy landlords and low-paid jobs are making life a misery for many foreign students in Melbourne.  Seventeen foreign students died in Victoria in the past year from boarding home fires, murders, car crashes and drownings.
