Saipan gaming proposal back in House By Agnes E. Donato The Saipan gaming proposal is back in the House of Representatives for reconsideration. The legislative body voted yesterday to reject House Local Bill 15-78 as a local matter. The measure now becomes a House bill that requires approval by both the House and the Senate. The vote came after Tinian Rep. Edwin Aldan raised concern about the apparent attempt by some Saipan lawmakers to maneuver around the bill’s previous defeat in the Senate.
